Ask any breeder..your vet is wrong. AFTER whelping they need a calcuim tab, but never before.
When it comes to these things a seasoned breeder is your best friend, not the vet...so rely on breeders here.
Feed her anything she will eat..no food can hurt her..but make sure she gets plenty of PUPPY dry mixed in with it. Chicken turkey and hamburger is protein...let her lap vanilla yogart from a dish. Press the fat out of any meat.
GIVE her a calcuim tab.
I do not worry about not being able to express milk IF the pups are growing. |
