I'm so very excited for you that you're getting a companion for your JB and also getting a Biewer. I'd love to get Scottie a companion, but I'm in the waiting stage for a second yorkie (breeder is currently monitoring two puppies for show potentials...but may end up keeping both). I wish there were local reputable Biewer breeders in my area. I'm so envious of those who have...

Anyway, back to your question. I'm no expert, but based on your situation, I would also agree that your second option would be best. If you left the new girl in the kitchen, she might be sad to be alone, especially in a new place. For the second option, at least if she's upset being crated through the night at first, it'd be for the best in the long run to have them all on the same schedule. It'd be what I'd do too.

Best wishes and keep us updated
