My vet recommended good old fashioned Nilla Wafers as a treat because they're low in phosphorous. I would crumble them up and sprinkle them on his food to get him started eating. You can also try some of the baby food meat or veggies. The Beechnut brand is good because it doesn't contain onion, but always check the labels first. The more your dog eats, the more inclined she'll be to eat more, and there will be time later to transition her to a more kidney friendly diet. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much!! I am excited you have told me this. I will try it. She has always been a finicky eater her whole life. Now I have another yorkie, her name is Crystal and I feed her the Blue dog food and Abigail always wants to eat her food. She will eat the Blue dog food but not good for her because of the Renal Failure.
