I'm sort of in the same situation... I'm getting ready for my first Yorkie baby. I have Frank, the wondermutt, but I'm not really worried about him... He loves everybody.. but my kitty had gone from a little sweetie pie, to demon kitty. She still HATES Frank. He wags his tail at her and she runs by him hissing....so I'm assuming there will be bad vibes with the new puppy also...I'm just making plans to keep the puppy away from the kitty until it is bigger...JUST IN CASE..... My kitty is only 9lbs...but that is HUGE considering how little our new baby will be for a while.
