The process has been fairly easy for me when submitting claims. The first one took longer though. All I had to do was send them the invoice and medical records. My deductible is $250 with HP paying 90% afterwards. What they did is take the bill divide it my 90% and apply that amount to the deductible. Since Pet Insurance is actually like being reimbursed you probably won't receive anything back from your current bill. Additionally it won't pay for the office fee.
