Sun Dog Pools: What's Best For Yorkshires This Summer?

The hot days of summer are agreeable yet troublesome for many dogs out there. The heat is hard to deal with especially for long-haired dogs.

Our dogs can't sweat to get rid of all that overabundant heat -- so their best way to get cooler is through external elements. These include lounging in the shades, drinking cold water and obviously, the most amusing of all, dipping in and out of their own dog pool.

A relevant question we read a lot is whether or not a baby/kid pool can be used as a dog pool. The short answer is no, it is not recommended. Both animals (yes, we're animals too) won't behave the same way in the water and have completely different behaviours, movements and strength once in the pool. A dog pool can be used as a baby pool but a pooch can’t use a kiddie pool.
