Mine love peas, carrots, celery, tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, ....the celery, carrots, and okra I steam until they are softened.....they adore these treats and when one starts to put on extra weight, exercise increases and dog food decreases some and the amount of the decrease in dog food is made up with addition of the veggies....and treats during the day are limited to veggies and no sweet cereals or goldfish crackers. |
