Wouldnt go there! I had a huge hive removed from under the eve of my home about 2 years ago. Before we got started, I (thank God) happened to mention I had yorkies....the bee keeper told me to go put the dogs in the house and keep them there for 12-24 hours, until the bees calmed down, any straggler bees had left, etc.....(I dont let my dogs out in the yard unattended, so I was not concerned about this event!)....these are just honey bees, with no killer bee infiltration....but I would not intentionally have a bee hive on my property....
