Any Essential Oil remedies, OTC Cough Meds. . . What should I do? It's 8pm! I MUST find something to tie him over until I can get to the vet tomorrow!!

We use hycodan as well for our 15.5 yo Yorkie. I've found that a vaporizer in his sleeping area can help when he is coughing a lot. I have an inexpensive Vicks warm air vaporizer. I also have my dog on a very high dose of hycodan. He takes 1/2 of a 5mg pill every 6 hours. He's 8 lbs. I would talk to your vet about going up on hycodan when he is bad - it's the only thing that worked for us.
