I got my puppy about a weeks ago he is 9 weeks 1.6 lbs. The day after I got him I had to rush him to the emergency room for low blood sugar. once he got out the hospital he was eating fine, every 3-4 hours 1-2 table spoons of food each feeding like the doc. told me. well three days later I could tell he had low blood sugar again, so I did the karo syrup, and of course I had to feed him, and he wouldn't eat, so I did chicken baby food in a syringe. and he perked back up soon after that. But im not sure he liked the fact I had a force feed him to eat, because now he wont eat at all, so for the last two days ive been having to feed him threw a syringe. I put down a plate of food and he wont even go near it, ive tried everything. cooking his own food, dry food, wet food, mush w/e I tried it. But I know I cant do this anymore, not only is its driving me crazy also. Has anyone had this problem, and how can I get him to eat his food, because he has to, even if I leave food in his crate at night he wont eat.
