Default Baby having abdominal surgery today, mommy freaking out

Hi everyone,

I just dropped my baby off at the vet for his neuter surgery and am sobbing so loud I bet the whole street can hear. He has been monitored since I first got him for an undescended testicle. I read so many posts here that I thought this was common but today my vet said it isn't common. So she has to go in abdominally so he will have that incision and the normal one and also he has retained virtually all his baby teeth so the bill has just tripled. His health and safety in the long run is worth it and priceless but I'm just so scared. She said longer anesthetic time, bigger risk, etc. My baby is so attached to me and he's my whole world. I haven't been a day without him since he came home.

I don't even know what I'm asking for here, I guess just to get it all out and maybe hear of similar experiences. Tips, tricks, or any advice on post operative care for a little rambunctious guy who loves jumping so much he must be part kangaroo...I know getting it all done at once is best and there's no option but to do this but I cried leaving him and my heart is breaking hoping he's okay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Nadia
