Yes, you can definitely give them raw bones - they're great for cleaning teeth and great for exercising the jaw as well.
Marrow bones are fine, but my fave RMBs (raw meaty bones) are the Bison Back / Rib bones from Whole Foods. You can find them at times in the frozen pet freezer - I have the butcher cut each rib bones in half or in thirds so that they're yorkie size. They're awesome!
