Dogs are so different..... basically, you have to wait and seen how they react to one another.

I have introduced many new pets into my home. And more often than not, there is a little jealousy for the first week or so -- after that, everyone here has become fast friends. So - you might have a few problems the first few days - and maybe not.

I do know that you need to give most of your attention to the animal that you already have. This will be the one that may feel jealous or displaced by the new little pup. Give this dog even attention than usual - love him to death. If you can do this while the puppy is close by - he'll accept the puppy sooner and not think of it as a threat.

The new puppy's feeling won't be hurt if he gets a little less attention than the other dog at first (plus he'll probably sleep most of the time).
