I'm not a breeder but am curious as to why it's important to keep pups with their mom til 12 weeks old verses 6, 8 or 10. I am getting a new pup and she was born on January 7th. Of course I want her now but don't worry...I know I have to wait. Mom is now trying to wean her pups . I've heard they learn socialization skills but what else?
