Hope it's not anything bad. My late Yorkie (RIP) did this too @ night. He would wake up at odd times & just walk the bed. I tried changing beds, going to the couch, recliner, nothing would sooth him. Then in a few days he didn't sleep at all. Was very preoccupied, wondering around with no purpose. Would not be still.
Well, when a lot of tests were done, the diagnosis was GME, not good. GME presents itself with neurological systems.
Hopefully yours is just age related.
