Hi, thanks for your reply. Jake has actually settled down a bit since I wrote. I corrected his behaviour a few times and saying "no" everytime he got very close to Lucy and he's much better, phew! My husband was so upset! We haven't got much experience with male dogs, we've only every had one female Yorkie mix who passed away three years ago (she was 14). Anyway, Jake managed to calm down enough to eat his dinner, accept a couple of treats and even fell asleep on my lap. I will be neutering him once Lucy settles down a bit with us. Thanks again :-) |
