My Yorkie has done the same to my husband. He was fine one evening then suddenly became terrified of my husband. He ran upstairs and hid behind a pillow. I went after him and he came out to me but immediately went for cover once he saw my husband. My biggest concern was if my husband yelled or hurt him. But I was assured that no harm was done. So I told my husband to leave Danny alone and let him come out of his scared phase. Eventually he did the next day. But I do know how terrifying and sad it can be when you're Yorkie is afraid of you. i have no idea what startled Danny. He's been fine ever since
