Mario did not know how to play with toys when we first got him, so I just assumed at first, as he learned, he might fetch. Some dogs just never will. Our other dog Bailey simply will not.

I had given up on Mario fetching, but somehow we stumbled upon "bear bear". Fetch for us is a vital training tool as well, so I was wracking my brain trying to come up with a way, until I had all but given up.

He will also fetch his stuffed penguin now. Both have squeakers in them. Not sure why he will get those but nothing else, but heck, I am just glad we found something he will fetch.
