It is more about the problems that pups this small can have than the extra time to grow behavior and socialization wise. Be sure to have Nutrical on hand and watch the pup closely at all times.
Also, in your original post you mention that you have a 5 year old. I pray that you will be extremely cautious when you let a puppy that is going to be a couple of pounds at best interact with a 5 year old. Their coordination and motor skills are not complete enough yet and they could hurt or even kill a small puppy without meaning to.
