By any chance did someone suggest (sorry, I'm too lazy to read back all the many pages/posts

) that you keep him in some kind of comfy carrier/crate and then stuff his face with treats, before he has a chance to even make a growl or sound, when you approach an intersection or parking lots? Maybe first trying this during a 2 minute car ride and then incrementally longer rides? Obviously, not giving him treats as soon as he makes as much as a peep, and go straight home.
