AKC won't really do much at all. I had a problem with a breeder and I complained to AKC. I had documents and a bunch of things as proof that I sent to AKC and they did nothing but tell this low down lady that she did wrong. A slap on the hand is all she got.
So good luck with AKC unless they have changed their policy in the last few years on complaints.
