I am far from an expert but I have seen many knowledgeable people on this board state that the puppy should be with the mom until at least 12 weeks. If my math is correct she will be joining you at barely 8 weeks old. Make sure you are prepared for any problems that may occur with a puppy that young. Hopefully there are other people here who can you advice on that.

i had thought this myself maxdog (although i mistakenly thought it was 10 weeks, is it to do with the mother teaching them appropriate behaviour??) She is from a litter of 5 & all will be rehomed at the same time so i figured i'd give this girl the best i can, i've already arranged for her to go to puppy parties & training classes when she's here so hopefully we won't have any long lasting behavioral issues.
This forum has been a godsend for help & advice & i cant wait to get some pics up, thankyou again
