I guess I lucked out in the Yorkie department (just like I did in the child department). My son was potty trained in less than a week. My Zeusy was completely potty trained and has never had an accident since between 5-6 months old. He uses potty pads, but will go outside if he needs to to. I had him neutered at 6 months old. I had a long discussion with the vet about it and was adamant I didn't want him hiking. The vet said do it as early as is safe, because once they start hiking, they usually don't stop even after neutering. I've since read on here that some people think neutering a boy is wrong, but everyone I talk to says it hasn't caused their babies any problems. My sweet boy squats like a girl, but he does it so manly!!! LOL. The only problem I have is that we placed in his pads in a good place to teach him and give him space to move while we were gone; however, that appears to be a bad place now (in the way). We absolutely cannot move them. He goes to where they should be and looks confused.
