Gizmo was really easy to potty train, but he still had accidents at 10 months. Like the ladies said above, neutering, consistency, and patience are going to be what it takes to get him on a good schedule.

I would contain him to certain areas of the house while he's leaning the ropes. I also would recommend him have a belly band on. Gizmo uses a belly band when we're not at our house in case he gets the opportunity to lift his leg and I don't catch it. However, I wouldn't use the band as your potty training solution. In Gizmo's case he doesn't like the feeling of the wet band when he does this, which means I usually have a dry band when I take it off of him.
