I disagree....price means a whole bunch, you just need to know how to use the very telling information you are getting by the price....if you find a cheap yorkie, you had better be checking it out carefully....especially if you are getting this cheap yorkie thru one of those sites like Crags list or news paper ads. If you have a "breeder" selling yorkies at 5 weeks-10 weeks old, with a "family death" excuse for dumping the pup, you need to be forewarned...this is not the way reputable breeders do business, and this dog is cheap because no money has gone into the breeding or the care of that baby...there are a lot of stolen and lost dogs that people have found, that are immediately peddled on those ad sites to turn a quick buck. If you are getting a yorkie for, say $4000.00, and the breeder is letting the dog go at 8 weeks old....SCAM! People need to understand and know a scam when they see it, and not base the definition of SCAM! on the price of the dog. If you get a 2016 Corvette for $1500.00, you have enough sense to look at that deal and most people KNOW that is a stolen car or there is a MAJOR issue with that car!!!....if you see a 2016 Corvette for $110,000.00, it will slow you down and make you look closely at the car and who is selling it, conditions of the sell, guarantees offered on the sell or the car, etc..... Overpriced dogs should be looked at carefully, you need to know what you should be getting in a dog, etc.....but a cheap yorkie is immediate cause for question....just like a cheap Corvette.....
