As for the peeing, you need to have him on a schedule. Feed at the same time every day. Of course always have water down. Take up water a few hours before bedtime. Always take him out before bed. When you are gone, confine him to certain rooms of the house like bathroom or kitchen, or crate him. We crate Toto. He will get used to it.

Toto is also not the best with potty training. He's not the type of dog that will tell you when he wants to go out. I just have to keep an eye on him all the time. Mostly he sleeps while I am on the computer. If I see he jumps down I will call to him, pick him up and take him outside. I keep a collar with a bell on it so I can hear when he moves around.

Lastly, Beowulf is WAY too young to be 100% potty trained. Of course there are yorkies that have been trained by 5 months, but still not 100% NEVER having accidents. Just keep at it. Don't get lazy. Take him out every two hours or so.

Persistence, consistence, and undeterred determination.....that is what it takes to get these babies trained.....
I always crate all my dogs when I leave the house....in case of fire, my windows are marked where the dogs crates are, so they can be rescued....they cant hide if they are crated....and they cant pee all over the house! Having breeders, they hike their legs....ALL my dogs wear belly bands with THICK pads in them....Poise ultimate absorbency, regular length, bladder leakage protection pads....these work fabulously, males usually go out side to really pee, several times a day....when the belly bands are on them, they are just "marking" around the house, and that is just a few little squirts that those pads can handle with absolutely NO problem!!

Get this little man neutered ASAP, BEFORE he starts hiking his leg to mark...then he will squat to pee like a little girl for the rest of his life....he may try to copy another male dog he sees, but for the most part, he will squat to pee!
