My fiance and I just adopted a yorkie pup today, was told the puppy was 9 weeks old. We just took him to the vet and was told he looks to be more like 5 to 6 weeks old
. I am currently giving him canned food mixed with puppy replacement milk. He is eating and drinking very well, has urinated multiple times but has no had a bowel movement yet and it's been about 6 hours since I got him. He's very wobbly when he walks but was playing with a toy for a while and seems alert. Is there anything else I should be doing ? I'm very concerned as he is only 14 oz and I am very upset that I was given a puppy that is clearly too young to be away from mamma
. Any help would be much appreciated!
