If she hates her crate this much - personally I wouldn't use one. All of my pups *hated* the crate, so it did not feel correct to confine them in this manner. Instead I used the Iris Pen (amazon or walmart) and they were WAY happier with that.
Have you tried moving her crate into your bedroom?
