I honestly think dog foods are causing skin problems for them. I took dee dee to the vet with severe itching and 2 bald spots on her side. Vet put her on a strict diet of hills science diet zd. We bathed her with hy lyte shampoo and I put coconut oil on her coat. Finally she has a full coat and is not itching. My other yorkie got pancreatitis. He has been on the zd the last year and no problems. Vet said I could switch him to hills dd which is venison. He likes it better. I add a little egg white and steamed carrot. Hope you can find healing in the right choice of food. My Jojo is eating wellness. He is fine on that. |
