Happy to hear you took him to the ER and received good news and a pain reliever. When this happened to my boys, we restricted their activity, encouraged them to rest and heal with their meds. Hard to do with a Yorkie.
Gentle massage also helps encourage blood flow to the area which helps the healing process.
