 Update on Vaccine
I got Boomer and Thumper their Bordatella Vaccine yesterday. The Vet was going to give it to them via nasal but I requested it be done via injection.
He said the common practice in the area is to give it nasal and that according to the research it is more effective that way. I asked about dogs receiving Kennel Cough from it via nasal and he said he hasn't read or heard anything about it.
He was very nice and did have the vaccine handy for it to be injected. I re-read their records from the adoption and they were originally given the vaccine via nasal.
Has any one else seen that this vaccine is being given via the nasal more often? I am glad I went him directly and not the groomer because he may have not had the injectable vaccine handy their. |
