We kept our Bella in a carrier on our night stand next to the bed. (We still do, actually.) At 10 weeks, we would set the alarm clock for 2:30 AM and carry Bella in her carrier to the potty pad area. By the time we got to the pad, she was fully awake and ready to potty. As she got older, she would wake us up herself--no alarm needed. She still wakes us up at 5 or 5:30 AM, which is a little annoying since we get up at 6 AM anyway, but we're used to it .
