Believe me I know all about flying Yorkies. My Ruger just turned 1 in January. I can't even remember when he hasn't jumped. Oh, yes from the top of the couch, arms of chairs. He does walk down the stairs, till about the last 2 or 3 then decides it would be faster to just launch himself. Oh yes, I'm holding my breath all the time. I've tried to stop him, but I'm afraid of too much distraction, it may cause him to loose focus. Yes, we have doggie steps for couch, he will walk up but, yep, you guessed it, fly off.

Oh, and he weighs 6.6 lbs. so not a tiny one.
