I know our product has a back splash around it, so the dog has to physically "go inside" to potty. I have customers that tell me they place potted plants around their potty / potty pads (if using) to keep the pup in place. That might help her take aim. When I used to use puppy pads, Jazz, would try to find a dry spot to "go" if the pad was even slightly wet, she would go next to it.
