It is impossible to predict what issues AKC will help with but they do insist on correct paperwork. Do you have the name and numbers of the parents of the puppy? I have a friend who just went thru a mess trying to get paperwork for her dog. She was able to find out that the breeder/broker had NEVER litter registered any litters with the male who was supposed to be his sire..but, AKC said they could not do anything about it since technically, AKC was not involved.
But, I agree with Pat. If you have a bill of sale, contract or anything that proves you bought the puppy from him and when, how much and the health as he represented it, I would head to court. Never hurts to rty to get some of your money back..I am sorry to hear that this is happening to you and your baby.. |
