My second question is for anyone who ot a puppy delivered from a breeder too far to visit. How was that experience adn would you recommend considering exploring that route as well?
Thank you in advance for welcoming me.

Hi Sabrina,
I was a longtime lurker here and signed up last week for the same reason and I'm also searching in the same area. The breeder of my first four unfortunately retired after 37 years last summer.
I found that there seems to be a lot of sketchiness in the PA area, it seemed like the pups were coming from a mill or not being taken care of, i.e. in kennels outside or no health guarantee.
After digging I found this link:
Watchung Mountains Yorkshire Terrier Club
It's the Watchung Mountain Yorkie club and their list of referred breeders. Not sure how up to date it is, which I'm finding with most websites that list these little sweethearts, but I have read a lot of excellent referrals for the gent Tom Becker of Wingold.
I've also read a bunch of nice things about Keith Turpin, who I emailed today to see if he has an intel.
I don't have any experience having one delivered with a nanny service. I really would prefer to go and be able to see the surroundings and the parents which is how my old breeder operated. I'm even willing to make a trip and drive a good amount of mileage.
I wish you luck, I think it's very cool that you're eager but being so smart about it! I can say that any time spent and waiting will be very much worth it, these little squirts are positively amazing.
Let's hope some others in these very cool forums can chirp out some info for us and if I hear/find any leads I promise I'll come back and share with you!
Best of luck and wishes - I look forward to seeing pictures of your baby in the near future!
