 Bordatella Vaccine and NYC
I just found out that the Bordatella Vaccine is only valid for 6 mos and in NYC if you take your pet to the Groomers, Kennel, or any dog parks then you have to be up-to-date on their Bordatella Vaccine. So now they need a booster every six months according to the Law.
Luckily, my Groomer is offering low cost vaccines on Sunday. I would have never known about this law but accidently came across an article online discussing it.
Does any other cities have something similar?
What is everyone's thoughts on the vaccine? I am aware of the Core Vaccines needed once a year and assumed the Bordatella was in that group. |
