Poor Charlie had to have a feeding tube placed this afternoon. His blood sugar has been running around 115, but that is with 5% dextrose. He has refused all food. His incision is intact and the drainage is lessening which is good news. There is still a possibility he could lose more tissue but for now it is ok.
I feel sick to my stomach that he is going through this. Lolasmom1211 and lolassister went to visit him today and took chicken but he just won't eat.
I am going to try to visit him tomorrow. I know they are all good to the pups in the ICU there, but I think it is always nice for them to have visitors when they are ill.
Poor Charlie. I hate that he is so ill.
