Hi and congrats on getting a new baby! I drive a Tahoe and have the center console Snoozer with the two tethers, I have had it over a year, use it all the time and have had no problems at all. I occasionally will tighten the straps if they seem somewhat loose, but mine stays in my vehicle all the time, I don't take it out. Both of mine sit and lay comfortably in it, they are a little over 5lbs each. Hope this helps!
