She had rabies and second set of puppy shots last Saturday (I don't recall where on her body)- I wonder if this is just coincidence? I've read several articles about skin irritation. Can I rule out Alopecia X since the skin underneath is not horrible darker?
If this is infact a birthmark, will it eventually grow/spread? Will new/normal hair grow out eventually? Her coat was getting so pretty before this happened so I'm a bit sad.
Anyone have this experience they want to share? There's nothing alarming on that area (no scabs, flake, redness). She's perfectly health otherwise. |
