Default Sooner or later i knew it would happen

My husband yelled this morning, "they got a rabbit". Icalled them but only Sissy would come in and Bubba ran under the deck with something in his mouth. My husband finally got him out but couldnt see anything under the deck, so I got dressed and crawled under (just picture me shimmying around on my belly in a space about 12-15 inches high. I found a place that had been dug up and used a piece of plastic to dig. Sure enough I found it........gag, the back half of a rabbit.

We know it was killed in our yard. There is fur all over in the snow. I keep hoping that ours didn't kill it but if they didn't that means there was something that jumped the fence into the yard.

I called the vet and he said to watch them for vomiting and diarrhea (please, no) and we might want to bring in stoll samples in about a week to check for parasites. He said we don't have to worry about rabies because they are covered.

The was a post a couple days ago asking when they calm down. Well, I hate to tell you but NEVER. bubba is 11 and Sissy is 10.

My muddy, snowy clothes are in the washer and I have had the hottest shower ever, gag.
