I will go along with all those training sessions....but I would NEVER trust a "runner" to remain calm and follow directions when presented with an absolutely irrestible dashing squirrel or cat or another dog....or a CAR!!!!!

I workjed with a young man that had bought him a puppy...he was training this puppy all the good manners and respect most people train their dog.....he told me he was working on not chasing cars...I told him just what I told you above....he laughed, scoffed, and sooooo confidently remarked how SMART and WELL BEHAVED and WELL TRAINED HIS dog was............

Two weeks later he buried his smart, well behaved, well trained dog, WHO DASHED INTO THE TRAFFIC AFTER A RABBIT.......The dog was in a "sit" command because of the traffic and the owner was concerned the dog was getting "antsy" to go after the rabbit.....owner was correct to be concerned.
