I think it's adorable! However, my Zeusy will have none of it. Rubber bands and gels -- he will rub his head against the couch until he gets them out. Bows and barrettes -- he will take both of his front paws and literally "dig" them out of his hair. So, it's definitely either trim the hair or let his hood be a little longer; but I digress. Right now, his hood is longer. When we think he can't see anymore, we'll trim the eyes. As far as the bows making them look like girls, I don't think it matters. Everyone thinks Zeusy is a girl -- everyone: "Oh, she's so pretty." (Me) "Thank you, yes he is." "He's too pretty to be a boy." (Me) "I know." Losing battle that I will never win. My teenage son is the same way though. All his young life people would say he was too pretty to be a boy with his long eyelashes and red curls. He is now wearing his hair longer than mine -- go figure! |
