Wow I commend you for doing that upkeep on yourself every four weeks. I am far too lazy. I used to do all that hair dying when I was younger. Did all the crazy colors in high school before it became all popular and trendy nowadays. I would love to have a medium brown or chestnut brown, but Asian hair lightens red first, so you'd have to lighten it all the way to platinum then put the brown back in. Too much trouble and damage, and plus that sounds expensive. LOL
