Oh well I was wondering if I had the only defected yorkie boy but I see he is perfectly normal after all..lol he acts so much like a toddler. He even comes to get me at 1:30 for his nap. I have to wrap him in his blanket and hold him until he goes to sleep and a lot of the time thru the entire nap..he is so picky about eating that he has too be spoon fed with his baby spoon and only out of his baby bowl and at super time has to sit at the table with ma and pa to eat or will pout until he gets his way..he want eat the same things for breakfast lunch and super it all has to be different and better not be what was for yesterday's meals.it is so bad I have a hard time finding what to give him and when and worry about if he is getting enough nutrition..if any one has any info on how to help with the picky eating I would love it.. I've tried the rice chicken vegetables he will only eat the chicken want touch it if anything else in it..same with the hamburger recipes.he didn't get this way until he got really sick,I still don't know what made him sick .I got laid off of work and couldn't take him to the vet, so an old retired vet friend that was a vet to exotic large animals gave me some antibiotics and helped me narrow it to a possibility of rancid deer that another dog drug up..the antibiotics helped him but he still not his self as far as eating and still not as active his pa says that probably was from lack of nutrition from not eating enough.we have to really keep on him and offering didn't things until we come across something he will eat..and everyone knows that yorkies can't eat just anything..so we find this exhausting and difficult..so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...and by the way Bentley is well mannered well behaved and no problems what so ever as to house broken.he is very smart at all these things..thanks for any help.. |
