I groom my Capone myself but his nails have gotten so long that the quicks have grown out to the end of his nails. Anybody have any good ideas of how to make the quicks recede? I've tried cutting them (way too scary!
). I have an electric nail file, but I haven't used it yet because I'm worried it might file too much and hurt him. I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas for my situation… Plan B) take him to the vet and let them cut his nails.
