I spritz the area Mario was chewing on with jalapeno juice, then sprinkled red pepper powder on it. I lightly spritzed the whole carpet in my kiddo's room with the jalapeno juice as well since that was his primary area of choice. He stopped within a week, but I kept it up for a month or so to make sure
