What's everyone's experience with this? Does it really last 2-3 weeks? My Chewie started coughing over the weekend. I thought it was reverse sneezing after seeing a cat but his coughing episode didn't stop. Took him to the vet Mon and got antibiotics & a cough suppressant. The vet said his lungs/heart sounded good but his lymph nodes were swollen.

The cough medicine works but Chewie is like s zombie and not hungry when he's on it. When it wears off he gobbles up food and then starts coughing constantly. Nights are the worst. I haven't slept normally in over a week now.

Is this just the way things go or should we go back to the vet??? I feel terrible drugging him up but if I don't he coughs non-stop. Starting to get a little frustrated. 😞😞😞😞
