Thanks Cindy, I can't do free feeding as I work full time and one of my Maltese's is too heavy. But I will try and give her extra here and there. In a few weeks I am going to take her back to my vet and weigh her to make sure she gaining and not losing. When they are young they never stop moving and you can see how they burn off all those calories!


Hi Fellow Tink! Isn't that funny, I have never met a dog named Tinker or Tink. We put down a Maltese and Yorkie in October and the Yorkie was one of the loves of my life, even at 14 he followed me everywhere. His name was Tucker and when we named our new little girl I hadn't realized till later how similar the name was. But I do think the name Tink is just adorable!


I am still trying to balance bonding with the new puppy but giving my two Malteses extra attention so they don't become sulky. The puppy doesn't understand space and tends to get up in their faces. But slowly there are accepting her!
