Buddybear: I still haven't found any additional data to support why he doesn't want me to use replacement formula, whether it's goats milk based or not. My vets only answer has to do with calcium production. I've used GNC milk replacement formula for several litters without a problem. It's a canned powder that I have mixed with puppy food to make a soft food for the babies and I've allowed by bitch to have small amounts while she is nursing. I've decided that I'm going to continue using the replacement powder, my choice, my pups!
Today is day 65, temp last night was 97.1 so hopefully whelping is near!
